Modbury Soccer Club has a proud footballing history dating back to 1964. A not-for-profit community sporting club, Modbury SC is affiliated with FIFA through its membership of the Football South Australia, the South Australian Amateur Soccer League, and the national peak body, Football Federation of Australia.
Over the last 55 years, Modbury Soccer Club has grown from it’s original ‘working men’s’ foundation to one that has demonstrated a long term commitment to developing and nurturing local footballing talent in Adelaide’s north-east, while encouraging children, youth and adults to adopt a healthier lifestyle and greater physical activity participating in an affordable sporting program. The Club caters for all age groups and abilities and fields teams in Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s, Junior boys and girls, and MiniRoos competitions. The club also fields teams in the SA Amateur Soccer Soccer League.
Modbury Soccer Club is located within the City of Tea Tree Gully, at its Smith Partners Stadium clubrooms at Ridgehaven, and at Burragah Reserve, Modbury North.
It is arguably the most high profile club representing the City in sporting competitions and codes.

The Modbury Soccer Club is dedicated to the development of football skills, encouraging good sportsmanship, physical fitness, positive team play, and the enjoyment of the game according to FIFA rules. Modbury Soccer Club plays a lead role in encouraging its next generation of elite football players in Adelaide’s northern region by providing opportunities for talented senior and junior players to compete at the highest level.
Modbury Soccer Club will be recognised and respected by its stakeholders, by the Football Federation of South Australia, by the City of Tea Tree Gully, and the local community as the premier sporting club in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
It will strive for success on the playing field, provide its players a clearly defined career path, its members with improved club facilities and create a family orientated social atmosphere which will set an example for all sporting clubs to follow.
