The Jets head down to O’Sullivan’s Beach for our PS4 NPL Round 23 away fixture against South Adelaide on Saturday 25 July, with kick-off at 3:00pm.
In what will be a massive match for both sides, Modbury know that they need to back up from their hard-fought win against White City last Friday and take the points at South Adelaide. Both sides will be desperate for a win to keep them clear of the relegation zone, and we must be under no illusion about the difficultly of the task this weekend. South Adelaide have been in impressive form with wins in their last four outings bringing them right back into the race for Premier League survival, only two points behind Modbury.
But the Jets should be confident that they have the quality in their squad to put in a great performance and, importantly, pull away from the bottom four.
In our last meeting, South Adelaide came away from our Round 10 fixture at Jet Park with a 1-1 draw with the Panthers taking a 51st minute lead before McNally grabbed an equaliser in the 76th.
