The Jets kick off their 2018 State League 1 campaign away to White City at the Parks Football Centre with kickoff at 5:00pm on Sunday 18 February.
Modbury will be confident as they head into the 2018 season following the key signings of new club captain Michael Doyle, Shaun McGreevy, Anthony Francesca, and Nathan and Josh Farrell from Croydon’s 2017 premier winning side. Alongside returning Modbury players and other significant additions, the Jets are well placed to have an excellent 2018 season.
An opening fixture away to White City will undoubtedly be a difficult assignment. In 2017 the Jets suffered a narrow home defeat, backed up by a scoreless away draw, however a positive start to the 2018 season will be expected by the Modbury faithful.
