Modbury travel to the Hawks Nest on Saturday 10 June for a 3:00pm fixture against Adelaide Hills.
Another disappointing loss last week, away to Pirates, has piled the pressure on the Jets to get the points away at Hills and keep in touch with the league leaders. Nothing less than a win against the struggling Hawks will be acceptable to the coaches and players. While its always a difficult place to play, Modbury has the quality to get the required result however desperately need to get on the scoresheet – the Jets haven’t registered a goal since the Round 10 clash at Sturt (the winner at home to Adelaide Victory was an own goal). Above all else, a strong performance is needed.
Modbury was held to a 2-2 draw at home to Hills in Round 3. After coming from behind to grab the lead, with goals from Gaston and Maio, the Jets conceded a disappointing late equaliser.
