Modbury welcome Cumberland United to Smith Partners Stadium for their Round 17 State League 1 clash at 3:00pm on Saturday 12 July.
The Jets will be looking to get back to winning ways after consecutive draws against White City and Fulham in the last two rounds, the latter particularly disappointing in a match they will have expected to win. A penalty to McGreevy, his 14th goal of the campaign, rescued a point for Modbury.
Cumberland make the trip to Smith Partners Stadium following a 3-1 home defeat to Sturt in Round 16 and will be hoping to consolidate their position in the top six with a win.
Modbury maintain their six point lead over White City at the top of the State League 1 ladder and with six rounds remaining, need to keep winning to clinch the league title and automatic promotion to the Premier League in 2020. With that goal in sight, the Jets will be determined to get the result and should be favourites to post a home win.
Modbury came away with a convincing 3-0 win in their Round 6 2019 State League 1 clash at AA Bailey Reserve. In 2018, the Jets and Foxes played 1-1 draws home and away before Modbury prevailed 1-0 in the second week of the finals series.
