Modbury travel to the Croatian Sports Centre at Gepps Cross for their Round 3 fixture against Raiders on Saturday 4 March. Kickoff is at 7:30pm.
After mixed results in the first two rounds, with a disappointing 4-2 Round 2 loss away to The Cove coming on the back of an impressive 4-0 win at Western Strikers in Round 1, the Jets need three points at Raiders to ensure a positive start to the season. A tricky run of four away matches to start the season while construction of the synthetic pitch at Jet Park is completed was always going to be a difficult assignment in the early rounds.
Raiders will undoubtedly be hard to beat at home and full of confidence after a convincing 3-0 win over fierce rivals White City in Round 2 however given the quality in the squad, Modbury will be confident that it will pick up valuable points on the road.
Modbury last met Raiders during their 2015 Premier League campaign where they gained an important point in a 1-1 result away at Whyalla, backed up with a memorable 4-2 home win at Jet Park.
