Modbury travel to Rushworth Reserve, Blair Athol on Saturday 11 March for its fourth away fixture in a row against Adelaide Victory. Another evening match awaits with kickoff at 7:00pm.
Following a sound performance away to Raiders last week, a match which the Jets will consider themselves unlucky not to have claimed all three points, Modbury contest their fourth consecutive away fixture against top-of-the table Adelaide Victory. A repeat of last week’s effort will give the Jets a great opportunity to claim the points however they must remain focussed against a side that is showing good form in the early rounds. Modbury will be excited about returning home to a rejuvenated Jet Park in Round 5, however must first negotiate a difficult away clash against Victory. A positive result will give the Jets a solid platform to build on through the rest of the season.
We last met Adelaide Victory during the 2016 State League season where we grabbed a dramatic come-from-behind 3-2 win away in the last round to clinch a finals berth and a narrow 1-0 win at home earlier in the season.
