Modbury travels to Frank Mitchell Park, Woodville West, on Friday 15 March for its Round 4 clash against White City in an 8:15pm evening fixture.
In the first of three away matches, the Jets face a real test of their State League 1 credentials against a challenging opponent. After a perfect start to the season, with three wins in the opening rounds, Modbury will be expecting to continue their form into this match.
Following a loss to Sturt in Round 3, White City will be looking to get back on track at home to prove that they are genuine title contenders, however they will miss their captain, Matt Canny, who will be suspended following his red card against the Lions.
Modbury have continued to find the net regularly with nine in the first three matches and having only conceded two, look dangerous up front and solid at the back. They will need to be at their very best to get a result away against the Warriors and maintain their unbeaten run.
In 2018, the two sides met three times with the Jets on the wrong end of a 5-1 result away in Round 1, White City grabbing a point after going 3-0 down at Smith Partners Stadium in the return fixture, with Modbury prevailing 2-1 in the Elimination Final following a McGreevy brace.
